$15m project assessing the genetic traits of cattle methane

THE Australian beef industry has launched a $15 million research project, examining the genetic traits of methane emissions in beef cattle.

The research is being led by the University of New England (UNE), in collaboration in with Angus Australia, the NSW Government and Meat and Livestock Australia (MLA).
