Serena (left) and Wayne Matthews, Kangarabbi Farms, Narrikup, were congratulated by Elders, Mt Barker agent Dean Wallinger and Elders, Mt Barker merchandise representative Sasha McWilliams on winning the class for heifers best suited as replacement breeders. The line of Gelbvieh-Angus heifers weighed 366kg and sold at 458c/kg to realise $1677 a head. The Matthews also placed first in the class for steers 350-400kg.
