Max Armstrong shares a topic that Zippy Duvall, president of the American Farm Bureau Federation, explored during his opening remarks for the organization’s meeting in San Juan, Puerto Rico – Waters of the United States, or WOTUS. Duvall notes that in the first 36 hours after an alert issued by the organization Farm Bureau members sent over 3,800 messages to EPA to have a “seat at the table.” The organization’s members worked to inform the EPA farmers needed rules that were clear and fair, but Duvall says it appears farmers were ignored.
