Mike Pearson tells us about an announcement U.S.A. Ag Secretary Tom Vilsack made at the Farm Progress Show for additional funding for renewable energy projects for farmers.
It was the best weather last week for thousands of farmers gathering at the Farm Progress Show about the newest technology including climate smart projects.
Vilsack announced $266 million worth of loans and grants to help farmers install and utilize climate smart projects on their farmers. The funding will also help farmers to create additional streams of revenue with renewable energy.
