MOST Eastern Australian beef processors have now finalised their 2023 seasonal closure and 2024 season opening dates.
Listed below is a preliminary schedule – subject to weather disruptions, as always.
The overwhelming majority of processors will close their 2023 seasons on Monday 18 December.
Note that some dates represent last kill shift, others last boning shift (typically at least one day separation for carcase chilling).
