Cattle numbers surged to 1800 and quality was quite good.

A large gallery of buyers were at the sale but some trade processors could not match feedlot prices.

The standout feature was the cow sale, witnessing a notable 25c price surge. Well-finished heavy cows commanded prices ranging from 255c to 285c/kg, while leaner grades remained unchanged at 220c to 248c/kg.

Heavy steers and bullocks were in limited supply, leading to a 20c/kg price increase. These categories fetched prices between 250c and 308c/kg.
