Downlands College, Toowoomba students Holly Donaldson, Patrick Edwards their teacher Dr Jeff Buchanan, Mr Tom Sevil, College farm assistant and students Charlotte Gallaghar and Annie Jackson, were awarded the Ekka giant pumpkin record at the Royal Queensland Shows iconic Giant Pumpkin Competition.
