Last week saw a significant price correction, resulting in a marked decrease in supply, nearly halving the number offered.
Despite this, all regular buyers were present at the sale.
However, while there was an increase in feeder orders this week, only the heifer portion saw gains.
The quality of offerings was generally deemed secondary, although there were some outstanding lines of both heifers and steers available.
Herefords and crossbred types found it difficult to attract all buyers with most selling below the 300c/kg mark.
