Apply ‘Apple thinking’ to genetic selection, ICMJ conference students told

YOUNG red meat industry stakeholders were told to treat tradition as an opportunity, during the 2022 Intercollegiate Meat Judging Association Conference in New South Wales last week.

At Charles Sturt University’s Wagga Wagga campus, NSW prime lamb seedstock producer Tom Bull described how he moved on from industry tradition to succeed. He said the sheep industry in the 1990s was subjective: “The show was king.”
