A bioenergy system being installed at JBS Australia’s Beef City, QLD and Scone, NSW processing sites will capture emissions from wastewater treatment and create a renewable gas system for the businesses.

JBS Australia has pledged to achieve net-zero greenhouse gas emissions by 2040 throughout its operations, in partnership with its producers, suppliers, and customers. To assist in achieving its goal, JBS Australia has partnered with biogas handling company Energy360 on projects to build turnkey solutions.
