Carbon insetting is new offsetting

According to the World Economic Forum, “carbon ‘insetting’ focuses on doing more good rather than doing less bad within a value chain. While an important tool, carbon offsetting can’t be considered a substitute for direct emissions reductions by corporates.” Organic Valley is working with over 20 technical partners to help sequester carbon, lower on-farm emissions, and turn organic dairy farms into a solution for combatting climate change.
