The number of prime cattle increased, with improved quality and many presenting with more weight than recent weeks.
An increased processor attendance lifted demand for all categories, with prices improving throughout.
Cattle were drawn from Mt Isa to Croydon, Georgetown, east to Ingham and south to the local area.
The improved demand resulted in grown steers and bullocks improving 35c, heavy cows lifted 40c and bulls averaged 12c better.
