Yarding 5370 Change + 1560
It was overall a plainer quality yarding with a large percentage of the cattle presenting in store condition. There were a few lots of well finished young cattle to suit the processors along with odd lots to suit the feeders. There were fair numbers of grown steers and heifers and very large numbers of cows yarded.
Not all the regular buyers were operating with both processors and feeder operators absent. Young cattle to the trade were firm to 4c cheaper with prime vealers selling to 344c/kg. Prime yearlings sold from 250c to 356c/kg. Feeder steers and heifers…
