It was a much better quality yarding with a better selection of young cattle to suit the feeders along with odd lots to suit the processors. T
here were good numbers of cows and grown steers yarded and only fair number of grown heifers.
Not all the regular buyers were present though there were a couple of extra restocker orders.
Young cattle to the processors were firm with prime vealers selling to 416c/kg.
Prime steer yearlings sold from 350c to 402c while the prime heifer yearlings sold from 355c to 420c/kg.
Secondary feeder cattle were 15c dearer on quality…
