THE red meat industry should be engaging directly with Australia’s border security staff to highlight the importance of their role in preventing an exotic disease incursion, a prominent New South Wales livestock producer suggested this week.
At the 2022 Intercollegiate Meat Judging Association’s annual conference in Wagga Wagga lamb seedstock producer Tom Bull said he had suggested the industry organise barbecues for border security workers.
