NVLX Wodonga 13 June 2023: Subdued market for 759 head

Numbers declined slightly with just over 300 cows penned.

Most of the usual buyers were at the sale however processors struggled to find well finished stock.

Competition was subdued despite a few pens of grain finished young cattle.

Secondary types lacked support from buyers, causing prices to fluctuate throughout the sale.

Vealers were in short supply selling from 265 to 400c/kg.

There was little demand for grain assisted yearlings resulting in steer prices slipping 10c to average 339c/kg.
