NVLX Wodonga 7 Feb 2023: Trade cattle in short supply

At NVLX Wodonga numbers lifted.

It was another plain offering with trade cattle in short supply.

Buyers were selective across all grades and only bidded to quality. Most of the usual buyers made it to the market.

Vealers made up the majority of the well finished trade cattle.

Prices were quality driven with some steer vealer sales improving by 12c, while the heifer portion softened 5c/kg.

The majority of the vealers made from 383c to 432c/kg.

Trade steers and heifers were few, selling from 339c to 404c/kg. Feeder…
