NVLX Wodonga 7 March 2023: Dry conditions reflected in yarding

The offering was mixed with a number of cattle having slipped in quality due to the dry conditions.

Most of the usual export and domestic buyers were at the sale, however some processors were quite selective.

The reduced supply of vealers sold to solid demand. The pick of the vealers made from 363 to 480c/kg. Yearling trade steers were few and buying competition fluctuated. The bulk selling at 390c to 474c/kg. The heifer portion sold to increased competition making from 313c to 395c/kg.
