Preconditioning helps calves adjust to weaning, feedlot

Anyone who is about to compete in a race or is starting a new job must be trained or conditioned to avoid problems. Training and conditioning will help them compete and do their best work. In much the same way, beef cattle need to be prepared before heading to the feedlot to be fed.
