Yarding 2963 Change -5327
Rain across the supply area reduced the number of stock at the Roma store sale down by over 5,000 head to a total of 2,963.
Cattle were drawn from the local and western supply areas and New South Wales.
All the buyers of the previous week returned and were active in the market.
Light weight yearling steers and heifers returning to the paddock sold to strong demand. However yearling steers and heifers to feed improved in price. Heavy grown steers to export processors were noticeably dearer. Cows sold to a market 12c to 14c/kg better.
