Roma sale 9 May 2023: Numbers drop to 7700

 

Yarding 7700 Change – 2056

A further 7,700 head were yarded at Roma this week. The majority of cattle yarded were from local areas and Western Queensland. Overall quality was very good but most cattle were starting to show the affects of a dry start to winter with restockers preferring to buy out of condition yearlings. Extra restocker support from Central West Queensland helped keep light weight steers firm however light weight heifers eased on previous weeks.
