Ms Bailey, who is a councillor candidate for NBRC Division 6 in the upcoming local election, said the purpose of the meeting was to inform the local people of Biggenden and surrounding areas of the intended plans of the state government, in conjunction with Powerlink, to dedicate much of North and South Burnett Regions to ‘Green Zones’, and to discuss a united and strategic action plan to defeat it.
