The Wagga sale soared to new heights, driven by the robust bidding of feedlot and export buyers. This stronger competition across various categories of cattle, sidelined local processors who struggled to match the higher prices offered by lot feeder buyers. A bigger group  of feedlot and export buyers were at the sale, all operating with keen interest to secure quality livestock. However, restocking activity remained subdued due to limited numbers of lighter weight steers and heifers.
