Weekly rainfall update + rain outlook 25 May 2022

A STRONG cold front moved over the south-east Australia on the 17th, bringing rainfall to western Tasmania.

A north-west cloudband stretched across the continent, from the Pilbara, WA, to the New South Wales Mid-North Coast, bringing rainfall and isolated showers to some areas.

More rainfall affected coastal and inland parts of Queensland and New South Wales on the 21st and 22nd; these were due to a surface trough off the central Queensland coast.
