ONSHORE flow brought rainfall totals above 100 mm along fringes of the Queensland coast, and more than 200 mm in an area of the Northern Tropical Coast with minor flooding of the Tully River.
Monsoon storm activity across the Top End and northern Western Australia brought showers throughout the week, and large areas had totals between 100 mm to 300 mm.
Over the 9–11 March, a front colliding with an upper trough drawing tropical moisture south, delivered rainfall totals exceeding 100 mm to parts of the Southern Interior, Goldfields and Eucla districts in Western Australia.
