A COLD front crossed southern Australia during the week, with weekly totals of 50 to 100 mm for the far south-west of Western Australia and western Tasmania.
The cold front also brought rain late in the week to the New South Wales South Coast district, resulting in weekly totals of 50 to 100 mm.
Weekly rainfall totals of 10 to 50 mm were recorded in the Victoria Alps, northern Tasmania, and in a large area of western to central Western Australia.
Rainfall was patchy elsewhere across southern Australia, with weekly totals typically less than 10 mm.
